On May 25, 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation went into effect. This is a European privacy law that impacts websites that can be seen from European countries. To be in compliance, we have updated and extended our privacy policy with more information. Nothing has actually changed. We have never shared your information with anyone else and we are not going to start now.

We take user privacy seriously. Our goal is to make Canadian Kratom HQ a great experience. Canadian Kratom HQ may collect and use information in the manner described in this privacy and cookies policy.

What information do we collect?
If you join Canadian Kratom HQ as a member, we ask for your name, email address and the city and country you are in. If you have made a donation, Paypal sends us your name and email address. How do we use personal information?
We use your name to identify you as a member and your email address to contact you or send you notices or newsletters. We use your city and country information to understand where our members are worldwide and to better serve your needs.

What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?
We collect this information with your consent when you become a member.

When do we share personal data?
We don’t.

Where do we store and process personal data?
Membership and donor information is securely stored on the Canadian Kratom HQ computers. It is never stored in the cloud. Only Canadian Kratom HQ personnel have access to your information. How long do we keep your personal data for?
We keep your membership information for as long as you remain a member of Canadian Kratom HQ. If you wish to withdraw your membership, your information will be permanently deleted from all of our records. We keep information regarding donations for a period of ten years.

16 or Under?
We are concerned about protecting the privacy of children aged 16 or under. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission before you provide us with personal information.

Your rights in relation to personal data.
You may contact us at any time to withdraw your membership and have your information deleted or to update your information. You may also contact us to have a copy of the information we hold about you sent to you.

Use of cookies.
We use cookies to help track usage of our site. Cookies are small pieces of information sent by an organization to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual. This lets us know how to improve the site to make it a better experience for visitors.
